John Gerow

John Gerow, 66 of Union passed away on June 29, 2016.

A Memorial Visitation will be held in the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Wednesday July 6 from 3-7 PM, with a Memorial Service being held at 6 PM.

Born in Newark, John lived there before moving to Union 25 years ago. He was a roofer for Local #4 in Parsippany for over 25 years, retiring four years ago.

Mr. Gerow was the son of John Gerow and the late Madelyn (nee Canavan); beloved husband of Maureen (nee Ginelli); loving father of Gina Freyre and her husband Carlos and Kelly Diaz and her husband David; brother of Kevin and Scott Gerow, Christine Knispel, Sharon Plinio and Lori Slomka; and dear grandfather of Alexander, Isabella, Gia and Jenna.
