John A. Coddington

John A. Coddington, 80 of Hillside passed away on February 15, 2025.

Funeral services are private, in the care of the Galante Funeral Home in Union.

Born in Jersey City, John was a longtime resident until moving to Pennsylvania and then Hillside 20 years ago. He was a warehouseman and a forklift operator with Speed Mart in Secaucus prior to his retirement. John enjoyed working with his hands, and could build just about anything. He was also a proud fan of the New York Giants.

John was the beloved husband of the late Linda Coddington; loving father of Johnny Coddington, Theresa Schultz and her husband Jim, Randall Coddington and his wife Adele, Michael Coddington and Jason Coddington and his wife Jennifer; cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of five.
