Joao Matos 82, of Union died on Wednesday November 11, 2016 at home.
The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union on Saturday at 9 AM. The funeral mass will be in Our Lady of Fatima Church 403 Spring Street (Routes 1& 9 Northbound)) Elizabeth, N.J. at 10:30 AM. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Portugal he lived in Union for many years.
He is the loving husband of Isauro ( nee Da Silva Valente) Matos, and is the devoted father of Joao Valente Matos, as well as the cherished grandfather of Sandra Dias.
