Joan E. Scholz (nee Ferro) 78, of Union, died on October 20th, 2012 at Overlook Hospital.


The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Thursday at 8:15 am. The funeral mass at Holy Spirit Church in Union at 9:30 am. Interment Hollywood Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4 – 8 pm. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Union 52 years.


Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a aunt to many. Wife of Michael J. Scholz. Mother of Michael, Nicholas & June Scholz, & Claudine Diaz & her Husband Orbito. Sister of Nicholas Ferro & Ann Murray & Linda Compare. Grandmother of Alyssa, Leanna, Kristi, and Tyler. Grandma, love you infinity times infinity!
