Janice Wrege

Janice Wrege passed away unexpectedly on July 23rd .

Janice had a love for life and lived it to the fullest. Her family was her whole world and her greatest joy. Janice cared deeply for everyone and touched the lives of so many. She always held a special place in her heart for the less fortunate and was a very giving and charitable person and especially supportive of the Saint Jude Foundation.

Janice always enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Aruba, which was her favorite international destination. Her favorite pastime was her visits to the Atlantic city casinos and sitting on the beach which she fondly called her happy place.

Janice is survived by her husband Don of 45 years, her daughter Tina Maria Hayes and husband Robert, her son Vincent, her sister Judy Apice and husband Richie, and her grandchildren Michael and Thomas Hayes, and her baby dog Milo.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A visitation for Janice will be held on Tuesday, July 28th, from 3pm to 8pm at Galante Funeral Home located at 2800 Morris Avenue in Union.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 29th at 10:15am at St. Michael Church located at 1212 Kelly Street in Union.

Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at 225 Ridgedale Ave in East Hanover.
