Immacula Nectice died peacefully in the hands of her grandson Rodney at the the tender age of 89 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Willingboro, NJ. During her short illness, she was surrounded and cared for by her daughter, Marie Jocelyne Emile and grandchildren: Roberte, Dudley, Rodney and Kency. She is preceded in death by her father, Mentor Nectice; mother, Charlsinet Dorsant; husband, Mirabeau Castelly; son, Miradieu Castelly; brother, Beauvoir Joasil; and twin sister, Mantilia Nectice.
Immacula, known to many as Mande, was born and spent most of her life in Outfey (Dessalines), Haiti. She later moved to the United States with her daughter after the death of her husband Mirabeau in 2005. Mande was a very kind, sweet and mild-tempered woman. Besides spending her time with her family and friends, Mande had a strong passion for cooking and gardening. Her personality was infectious, she knew no stranger. She touched so many lives through her selflessness, generosity and passion for life. Due to her love for the gift of life, Mande began studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. Upon seeing Bible truth concerning such a loving God, Mande then dedicated her life through water baptism, symbolizing her faith, thus becoming one of Jehovah’s Witness in 2017. Mande even loved the preaching work and zealously preached the good news of the Kingdom each chance she had, a privilege she cherished.
Survived alongside her daughter and grandchildren are her great-grandchildren; Kenneth Paillant, Kyla Emile, Keyon Clark, Bry’Eille Emile-Clark and Nolan Emile along with a host of family members; including her sisters, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and many others who’s life she touched.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation for Immacula on Thursday from 9 to 11 AM at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Orange.
