Ida LaMotta (Nee D'Alessio), 95 of Toms River passed away peacefully on September 30, 2021 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.

Ida was born in Newark and lived in Carteret before moving to Toms River.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dominick LaMotta. Loving mother of Charles LaMotta and Robert LaMotta. Sister of Carmella D'Alessio and the late Pasquale D'Alessio, John D'Alessio, Angelina Fiore and Louise Jesse.
Ida also had 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Tuesday from 2-4 PM.
Funeral Mass is on Wednesday at St. Casimir Church, Newark at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
