Gladys Matos, of Newark, NJ, entered eternal rest on September 23, 2020.

Gladys was born on January 21, 1938 in Havana, Cuba.

She left Cuba in 1972 with her husband Juan and 3 children

to settle in Madrid, Spain for a few years and arrived in Newark, NJ in 1974.
Gladys was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister

who was deeply loved by everyone. Her love for her family was her greatest pride and joy.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Matos,

and her children Raisa Hernandez (husband Jose), Ramon Matos (wife Maria) and Rolando Matos (wife Janice).

She is also survived by her brother Carlos Rodriguez,

grandchildren Jamilette (husband Chris), Diana (husband Raymond), Rolando Jr.,

Jennifer, Ramon, Vanessa (husband Jean Pierre), Gina & Daniel.

She also had six great-grandchildren and countless family members who adored her.
Heaven has gained another angel.
