Giuseppe Martino

Giuseppe Martino, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on April 6, 1948, in Sicily, Italy, Giuseppe made a significant journey in 1970 when he immigrated to the United States, settling in Springfield, New Jersey. There, he built a life marked by hard work and commitment.

Giuseppe was the proud owner of Joe Martino Landscaping, a business he operated in Springfield for many years until his retirement in 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nina (nee D’Antoni); his daughter, Jennifer Martino; his brother Tomasso Martino and his wife Olivia; sisters Rosaria BellaFiore and Maria Bianco; brother-in-law Sebastian; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Giuseppe also cherished his grandchildren, Julia and Isabella Jehle, who brought immense joy to his later years.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on March 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Galante Funeral Home situated at 2800 Morris Avenue in Union, New Jersey. A Mass in celebration of Giuseppe’s life will be held on March 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, located at 45 South Springfield Avenue, Springfield, New Jersey. followed by entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
