Giselle Louisma was born on July 3rd 1963 in Carrefour Ogé, Marchand Dessalines, Haiti to Tania Fenelus and Julien Louisma. As a young woman, she moved to Port-au- Prince where she graduated from Coscomar Secretary School. She immigrated to the United States in 1990 in pursuit of the American Dream. Here, she met and married her husband, Lionel in January 1993 and was blessed with two beautiful children; Jeff and Lauren. She purchased her first home in Irvington, NJ and her second home in Union, NJ where she resided until her passing.
Giselle was a woman of diverse skills. She was a baker who specialized in making cheesecakes, she could mend and darn fabrics, and she had astute negotiation skills. She was known for her great sense of style and without a doubt, Giselle could bring all kinds of people together with her cooking. She also enjoyed country music; Shania Twain and Reba being two of her favorite artists. Giselle worked as a CNA for 27 years and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to those who were in need of care. She was a devout Christian and held fast to her faith throughout her battle with cancer.
Giselle is survived by her husband, Lionel Supplice; son, Jeff Supplice; daughter Lauren Supplice; daughter-in-law, Rachel Supplice; Sister, Marie Lucia Louisma; nephew Steve Bien-Aime; niece, Marie Linecia Bien-Aime, and numerous relatives and friends.
There are not enough words to describe the life of our beloved Giselle. She leaves behind a legacy of love, self-lessness, and hard work. Her memories will forever be cherished in our hearts.
