The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Saturday at 8:30 AM. The funeral mass is at St. John the Apostle Church Linden at 10 am. Visitation 2-4 PM Thursday Jan. 19 at the Timothy E. Ryan Home For Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd. Toms River and Friday Jan. 20, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave Union .
Born in Altoona, Pa. George lived in Linden for 41 years before moving to Toms River 18 yrs. ago. He was an Auto Worker for General Motors Linden for 31 years before retiring 28 years ago. George also was a Army veteran of WW II and received 5 bronze stars.
