Gary F. Basile

Gary F. Basile, 69 passed away on March 24, 2026.

Funeral services are private, in the care of the Galante Funeral Home in Caldwell.

Born and raised in Cliffside Park, Gary lived in Lodi and North Caldwell until moving to Woodbridge several years ago. He was a technician in I.T. for many years.

Gary was a huge fan of the New York Jets and New York Mets, and cherished days spent taking his son to games. He also followed college football and college basketball. In his later years, Gary treasured relaxing Sundays at the pool, or feeding ducks and squirrels in the park.

Gary was the loving father of Joseph Basile and his wife Rose, and is also survived by his dear girlfriend Cece.
