Faye E. Killgrew

Faye E. Killgrew, 90 passed away on October 12, 2025 at Garden Terrace in Chatham.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Faye at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Wednesday October 15 from 10 to 11am. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 11am, and entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Born in Aiken, SC, Faye lived in New York prior to moving to New Providence 40 years ago. She was a licensed masseuse in her earlier years, but most recently enjoyed her work as a property caretaker. Faye most cherished caring for flowers and plants, both at work and at her home. She also treasured time spent walking on the beach in search of beautiful shells to add to her collection. 

Faye was predeceased by her beloved husband Carmine Ventre. She was the mother of Karla Killgrew-Link and the late Gregory Teague; grandmother of six; and sister of Richard Anderson, Sidney Anderson, Warren Anderson, and the late Walter Anderson, Frances Hilliard, Lola Kneece, Nancy Anderson and Mary O'Neal. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
