Ermezinda Gandarez passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 96 in Lar de Seixo, Portugal.
Ermezinda was the beloved mother of five children: Maria dos Anjos Almeida, Manuel Evangelista Gandarez, João Carlos Gandarez, Maria Fernanda Gandarez, and Maria de Lurdes Oliveira. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her role family further extends to her son-in-laws and daughter-in-laws.
A celebration of Ermezinda's life will be held on August 17, 2025, at Galante Funeral Home located at 2800 Morris Ave in Union from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. A Catholic Memorial Service will begin at 3:15 PM. Those who knew Ermezinda are encouraged to gather in honor of her remarkable life.
