Ellen M. Balz

Ellen M. Balz, 52 entered into eternal life on September 4, 2026.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Ellen at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday September 10 from 6-8 PM. Her burial will be held privately.

Born in Ridgewood, Ellen was a longtime resident of West Orange. A 1991 graduate of West Orange High School, Ellen enjoyed participating in the theater programs that Community Access had to offer. Above all, she cherished time spent with her loving family, especially with her nieces. 

The devoted daughter of Francis and the late Barbara Balz, Ellen was the dear sister of Christopher Balz and his wife Deanna. She was the loving aunt of Ashley Anastasio and her husband Adam, Chelsea Balz, Marissa Balz and Anthony Riggio; and adoring great-aunt of Jace, Rylee and Milani.
