Eleanor Farner

Eleanor G. Farner (nee Ganser), 84 of West Caldwell passed away on February 28, 2021.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Eleanor at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Tuesday March 2 from 5-7 PM. A private burial will be held at Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Eleanor was born on November 10, 1936 in New Jersey and enjoyed living there her entire life.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gene Farner. Eleanor and Gene loved to travel throughout the USA during their vacation time.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Shirley Ganser, her niece Christine Farner and other loving nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was a banking executive throughout her working career and enjoyed all that banking contained. During her retirement, Eleanor enjoyed sharing everyday life with her sister Shirley, gardening, taking walks and caring for her three cats.

Eleanor will be missed dearly and will forever be in the hearts of her family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, 194 Rt. 10 W East Hanover, NJ 07936.
