Edgardo V. Belino, 80, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully. Born in Alitagtag, Batangas, Philippines, Edgardo immigrated to the United States in 1973 and built a life dedicated to his family and career. He worked as a Quality Control Technician at Alpha Metals in Jersey City for over 30 years before retiring.
Edgardo is survived by his loving wife, Edna (Macalintal); his children, son Edsel and daughter Erin Belino; his daughter-in-law, MaryAnne Belino; and his cherished grandchildren Bryan, Emily, and Alexys. He is also survived by his brother Victor Belino and his sisters Lolita Aure and Araceli Castor. He was predeceased by his sister, Felisa Macalincag.
Edgardo loved traveling with his family, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, and watching game shows. He also had a passion for playing blackjack, often spending time at the casinos in Atlantic City.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church in Union on Monday, September 23, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia.
