Dulce G. Rodrigues

Dulce G. Rodrigues, 91 of Howell passed away on July 19, 2025.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Dulce at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Wednesday July 23 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church in Union on Thursday at 9:15 AM. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Born in Portugal, Dulce immigrated to Newark in 1968. She worked as an assembler for Ulanet on Market St. in Newark for many years prior to her retirement 25 years ago. Dulce cherished time spent tending to her beautiful vegetable garden, and being a best friend to her dogs, Jack, and the late Arrow. She most cherished time spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

The devoted wife of the late Albano Rodrigues, Dulce was the loving mother of Helena Rosato and her husband Peter and Maria Silva and her fiancé Michael Collucci. She was the proud grandmother of Antonio Silva, Jr. and his wife Krista, Stephanie Calamia and her husband Joseph, Diana Silva and Anthony Rosato and his wife Jessica; and the adoring great-grandmother of Kira, Riley, Brooks and Declan. She was the dear sister of Manuel Marins and his wife Dolores, Graciete Saraiva and her husband Jose, Judy Tente and her husband Fernando, and the late Jose Martins, Filomena Carreira and Prazeres Santiago. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law Jose Carreira and Americo Santiago, and by many loving nieces and nephews.
