Dora Ruiz

Dora Elsa Ruiz, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 26, 2021.
Dora was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico and moved to New Jersey in 1956.  She married the late Daniel Ruiz in 1958 and they settled together in Newark for 35 years before relocating to Hillside in 1993.
Dora dedicated her life to raising her family and caring for her late husband until his death in 2012.  An exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor who always had her door open to welcome those around her.
Dear mother of Daniel Ruiz and wife Juanita Tutt, Israel Ruiz and wife Lucy Ruiz and the late Ana Ruiz Vazquez and Jose A. Ruiz.  Proud grandmother of Laura, Maricsa, Daniel V., Bernice, Jennifer, Leilani, Daniel R. and Chelsee.  Also, her 16 Great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Dora will be laid to rest beside her husband at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens on Friday January 29, 2021.
