Donald B. Lane

Donald B. Lane, 68 of Franklin, NJ, passed away on December 12, 2025.

Donald was born and raised in Syracuse, New York, before spending many years in Livingston, New Jersey. He then found his way to Franklin, New Jersey, where he spent the past 11 years of his life.

Donald is a graduate of Oswego College with a Bachelor's degree. He was a dedicated employee in Quality Assurance for AT&T, and then for Shubert Theater. He spent his free time enjoying activities such as line dancing and square dancing, and made many friends and connections through these various groups. Donald is remembered for his caring and considerate nature by all who were fortunate to know him.

Donald is survived by his stepsons Timothy Brown, Gregory Brown, and Kenneth Brown, as well as his sister Joan Barzee. He also leaves behind his niece Heather Morrison, and great-nieces Vanessa and Victoria.

Friends and Family are invited to a graveside service for Donald beginning at 1:00PM on Thursday, December 18th at Restland Memorial Park at 77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover. Arrangements are in the care of the Galante Funeral Home in Caldwell.

Donald will be greatly missed, and will remain in the hearts of all who remember him.
