Domingo was born in Mallou, La Coruna, Spain
He served in the navy, worked as a Merchant Marine, and a Lumberjack in his native Spain before immigrating to the U.S. in 1960.
He lived in the Ironbound section of Newark from 1960 until 2008, before moving to Mesa, Arizona in 2008.
Domingo was a longshoreman for Maher Terminals Newark and was a member of the International Longshoreman's Association Local 1235 until his retirement in 1983.
He is survived by two sons, Santiago Rodriguez and his wife Colleen, John Rodriguez and wife Antonia, and daughter, Manuela Rodriguez Graca and her husband Manuel. A brother, Angel Rodriguez Lago, sister Dolores Rodriguez Lago, and five grandchildren, Brian, Carly, Daniel, Lia, & Nicole.
