Domenick was born on Nichols Street in Newark on July 14, 1928. He attended Central High School where he ran track, and as a young man formed a song writing partnership with his friend Tommy Falcone. Domenick, always good with words, was the lyricist. They published and sold songs. Later he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where he received a degree in Accounting. Domenick worked for many companies before college and later became Comptroller for Chock Full O’ Nuts of NY, after which he also worked for St. Tropez Swimwear.
