Dennis J. Hildner

Dennis J. Hildner, 66 of Springfield passed away on November 16, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday November 25 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday November 26 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Born in Newark, Dennis was a longtime Springfield resident. He was the owner and operator of the Liberty Tavern in Union for many years, where he enjoyed the company of old and new friends every day. He held a special place in his heart for all animals, especially his faithful dog, Libby. Dennis also enjoyed watching and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

Dennis will be sorely missed by his beloved girlfriend Corrinna Gallitella, and by his entire Liberty Tavern family.
