Daniel Nunes

Daniel Nunes, 67, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his residence in Newark, NJ.

He was born in Ulme Chamusca, Portugal and immigrated to the United States, residing in the Ironbound Section of Newark.

Visitation on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave Union.

A Mass will be held for Daniel at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Elizabeth on Wednesday at 10AM

He joined the construction industry, most recently working as a laborer for J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc., and was a proud member of Local 472.

Son of the late Joaquim Nunes and his wife Herminia Matelas; beloved husband of Madalena Nunes; loving father of Cathy Nunes and her husband Nuno Padinha and Paul Nunes and his wife Lorraine Oliveira; brother of Gabriel Nunes and Manuel Nunes; cherished grandfather of Justin Nunes, Jonathan Nunes, Hailey Nunes and Ethan Nunes.
