Constance Wood, 82, of Newark, passed away at home on July 23, 2014.

The funeral will be in the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union on Tuesday at 10 am. Interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.

Connie was a lifelong resident of Newark. She was employed by Gubelman Charts and Sleep-Aid Mattress Co. in Newark for many years.

Wife of the late Andrew Wood, mother of Barbara Tortorello and Constance Wood, sister of Nicholas Harold Noche, Cecilia Anastasia Domiko, and Agnes Anne Tubella, grandmother of Danielle, Stephen, Christina, and Raffaela, great grandmother of Cordelia, Lucien, Gabriella, and Alexis.
