Chris Vecchiarelli, beloved father, grandfather, fiancé, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at the age of 70.

Son to Chris & Marie Vecchiarelli, he was born and raised in the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey. Chris was deeply proud of his roots and carried the values of hard work, loyalty, and resilience throughout his life. A graduate of Loyola College, he went on to build a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

A longtime resident of Marlton, New Jersey, Chris especially cherished his summers at the beach house in Brigantine that he shared with his beloved fiancée, Eileen Tarcelli. The shore was his happy place a retreat filled with laughter, love, and a little gambling at Harrah's.

Chris was a proud and loving father to his three children- Christoper, Timothy, and Elizabeth along with his cherished grandchildren, Connor, Ben, and Sam. He shared a loving partnership with Eileen and remained a best friend and support for his brother Andy and his favorite nephew, Drew.

Chris had a sharp mind, a generous heart, and an unmistakable sense of humor that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but for the kindness, love, and integrity he brought to every relationship.

He leaves behind a legacy of devotion to family, faith in hard work, and an enduring love that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Chris at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union, NJ on Monday August 11 from 10 - 12. A Funeral service will be celebrated at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Children's Hospital of PA in Philadelphia
