Catherine Lanno

Catherine Lanno (nee D'Iacovo), 77 of Union passed away on July 22, 2026 at Complete Care Summit Ridge in West Orange.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Catherine at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday July 24 from 4-8 PM. Her cremation will be held privately.

Born in Newark, Catherine moved to Union in 1959. She worked as a beautician for many years, and for the last ten years enjoyed her work as a para-professional for the Union Township Board of Education.

Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Frank; dear sister of Linda Bryans and her husband Robert and John D'Iacovo and his wife Brenda. She was the cherished aunt of Helen Lutz, Ricky Lutz, Kristoffer Bryans and Jennifer Kostiw, and is also survived by many loving great-nieces and great-nephews.
