Carolina Doprado Seabra, also known as "Carol', passed away peacefully on July 2 2026, at age 54 while residing in Virginia. Carol was born November 17, 1971 in Tours, France to Manuel and Adelaide Seabra.

Carol is survived by her mother, Adelaide Seabra, her children kelly Murta and Manuel Seabra, her sister Candida Couto and husband Antonio Couto, her sister Maria Dasilva and husband Carlos DaSilva, her brother Jose Seabra, her goddaughter Jennifer Couto, and many beloved nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Manuel Seabra.

Carol was Portuguese but spent most of her life in New Jersey surrounded by her family. In May 1992 she was blessed with her first child Manny named after her father. A few years later she married Nuno Murta, a man who became father to her first son and together they had another child Kelly in September 2005. She was happily married for over 20 years. She worked many jobs and always kept busy, most of her work fell in the banking category.

Carol was an incredible mother. She was devoted to her children and went beyond for them every day she was alive. She loved nature; she spoke of mountain views and went camping in Virginia a few times. She loved beauty and makeup. She had an eye for clothing styles and always looked her best even when going to the supermarket. She adored animals and had many dogs in her lifetime. Most remembered being Shakey, a black labrador she shared with her husband and four yorkies named Bumble, Coco, Cookie, and Minnie. She always said they were like children to her. She loved crystals and believed in the Earth; she knew that by being a good person, the universe would give back. She believed heavily in God, always keeping him in her heart. She knew exactly what to say in difficult situations; she handled advice perfectly. Her favorite show was ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’. She loved Prince and all of his songs, especially ‘Purple Rain’. She loved music and to sing along in the car when she drove.
Carol was a vibrant and loving mother, daughter, wife, and sister. She had a desire for life and always tried to make the best of it. Carols legacy will never be forgotten as her family will always carry her beautiful memory in their hearts. 

 In honor of Carolina's bright soul and beautiful spirit, the family encourages every guest to come dressed to all of her services in white or light pastel colored attire.

A visitation will be held for Carolina on Monday, July 13th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Galante Funeral Home located at 2800 Morris Avenue in Union.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 14th at 10:15am at St. Michael Church located at 1212 Kelly Street in Union.

Burial will follow mass at Hollywood Cemetery, located at 1621 Stuyvesant Ave in Union.
