Aurora Vega

Vega, Aurora Velez, 86, of Brandon, Fl. passed away on October 2, 2013. She was born on February 4, 1927 in Puerto Rico. Aurora spent 40+ years in New Jersey before settling down in Florida. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Riverview, Fl. Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, a son Frank, and a daughter Tina. Aurora is survived by her husband Angel Vega, and children; Elsie (Angelo) Quinones, Tony Velez, Joseph (Maryanne) Velez, Josephine Velez, and Bill “Whopper” (Donna) Velez, a daughter in law Carol Velez, 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren. A Funeral service will held on Tuesday at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union at 10AM. Visitation will be on Monday from 6 -8 PM. Interment at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden.
