Aurora DeCoto

Aurora DeCoto (nee Quiros), 90 of Newark passed away on January 4, 2022 at Alaris Cedar Grove.

Funeral services are private, in the care of the Galante Funeral Home in Union.

Born in Costa Rica, Aurora lived in Irvington until moving to Newark 30 years ago. She enjoyed traveling, and cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, during the holidays. She was deeply loved, and will be greatly missed.

The beloved wife of the late Adilio Coto, Aurora was the loving mother of Jorge Coto (Ivonne), Walter Coto (Yolanda), Ronald Coto (Vivian), Willie Coto and Jeanette Fernandez; treasured grandmother of ten and dear great-grandmother of five. She is also survived by her brother Fernando Quiros, by her sister Rangel Quiros and by her son-in-law Carlos Fernandez.
