Arlene Napuli

Arlene Napuli, 78, of Union, passed away on May 26th, 2026.

Arlene was born in Bronx, New York in 1947 and lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Westchester before she moved to Union, New Jersey only ten years ago. During her time in New York, she was devoted to her position as an Early Childhood Educator for Mohawk Day Camp. After a dedicated 15 years, she retired in 2016.

Arlene enjoyed expanding her horizons and traveling, and during her down time she found pleasure in simpler activities such as reading. She cherished her grandchildren and spending time with them as well.

Arlene is predeceased by her father Irving, and her mother Matilda. She is also predeceased by her daughter Jennifer Fraidstern.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband Robert, her daughter Michelle Doheny and her husband Martin, her children in-law, Daniel and Katie Fraidstern, her her brother Steve Wankoff and his wife Mariann, her sister Alicia Murphy, and her grandchildren: Max, Ben, Jake, Ruth, Tate, and Tilda.

Cremation will be held privately, in the care of the Galante Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Arlene's honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
