Aracelis Perez

Aracelis Perez (nee Leon), 87 of Union passed away on April 16, 2018.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation is on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.

Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Aracelis lived in Newark and Kearny before moving to Union 20 years ago. She worked as a quality control inspector for Krementz & Co. for over 20 years before retiring.

Aracelis was the beloved wife of the late Armando Perez; loving mother of Ricardo Perez and his wife Pina, and Robert Perez; dear sister of Ramon, Angel, Ipolito, Maria and Juana Leon, and the late Maximina, Mercedes and Roberto Leon. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren Ricky, Raquel, Amanda and Robert, Jr., and by her many beloved nieces and nephews.
