Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave, Union on Tuesday at 9 AM.

Funeral mass at St. Michael Church Union at 10:15 AM. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM.

Antonio was born in Murtosa, Portugal, came to United States in 1944 lived in Newark before moving to Palm Coast, Fla. He was a construction foreman for La Fera Construction Co. for many years.

Beloved husband of Domingas (Nee Costeira) Vaz. Father of Joseph Vaz and his wife Gail and Dina Hague and her husband Timothy. Brother of Maria Amelia Cunha. Brother in law of Lidia and Antonio Silva, and by many nieces and nephews. Grandfather of Timothy, Ashley and Jessica. Great grandfather of Ava and Andrew.
