Anthony LoRusso

Anthony Lo Russo, 85 of Verona  passed away on May 13, 2018 at St Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

The  Funeral will be from the  Galante Funeral Home 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell on Friday at 8:30 AM. The funeral mass will be at Our Lady of the Lake Church Verona at 9:30 AM. Anthony was born in Newark and lived in Verona. Anthony started at the Newark Police Department as a motorcycle police officer. Later He went to the Essex County Sheriff Department as a detective and retired in 1986. Anthony was an army veteran during peacetime.

Anthony was the husband of the late Eva (nee Farro). Loving father of Anthony Lo Russo, Gina Morovati and her husband Freddie, Antoinette Lanfrank and her husband Ricky, Lisa Perrello, and Bernadette Benitez and her husband Adam. Brother of Philomena Casale, and the late Vincenza Lo Russo, Michael Lo Russo,and Madeline Costa. Grandfather of Alexa, Eva, Danielle, Gabriella, & Alexandra. Great grandfather of Gerald.
