Angela Minieri (Farfaglia) of Springfield, New Jersey, passed away after a brief illness on April 29, 2026.
Angela was born on October 31 in Newark, New Jersey, where she lived for several years before ultimately settling in Springfield. She devoted much of her life to being a loving mother to her 3 children and a kind and giving person to both her family and her community. Angela was employed as a secretary to Judge Michael Petrolle in the Essex County Superior Court system and also volunteered at Saint James the Apostle Church in Springfield, New Jersey. She was known to many for her kindhearted and selfless nature.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jean and Anthony Farfaglia. Angela is survived by her loving children, Anthony Minieri; Jeanne Oller and her husband, Michael; and Jennifer Cataldo and her husband, DeJohn Cataldo. She is also survived by her sisters, Marianne D’Alessio and Janet DellaSala, and her brother-in-law, Ernie DellaSala. Angela leaves behind four beloved granddaughters, Nicole Cataldo, Amanda Oller, Daniella Cataldo, and Emily Oller, as well as her many nephews and nieces.
Visitation is at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Sunday May 3rd from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Church in Springfield on Monday at 11 AM.
