Angela Guzman

Angela Guzman passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023. Born in the Dominican Republic to
the late Carlos Perez and Angela Guzman, Angela lived in Elizabeth after arriving in the United States
over four decades ago.
She loved to dance at parties and cook for her family. She enjoyed spending the day in her rocking chairs
while watching novelas and talking on the phone, both here at home as well as her front porch in the
Dominican Republic.
Angela will always be remembered as a beautiful friend, sister, and mother to everyone around her. She
was the beloved wife to the late Eduardo Ramos. Angela’s memory will live on through her six children –
Rodys, Carlos, Antonio, Niulka, Jose, Yoselyn – her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation for Angela on Monday June 26th from 4-8pm at Galante
Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, NJ. A brief viewing will be held on Tuesday June 27th from 8:30-
9:30am at Galante Funeral Home. Mass will begin at 10am at St. Mary of the Assumption (155
Washington Avenue Elizabeth, NJ). Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Angela (India) Guzmán falleció en paz el martes 20 de junio de 2023. Nacida en la República Dominicana,
hija de Jose Pérez y Angela Guzmán. Angela (India) vivió en Elizabeth después de llegar a los Estados
Unidos hace más de cuatro decadas.
Le encantaba bailar en las fiestas y cocinar para su familia. Disfrutaba pasar el día en sus mecedoras
viendo novelas y hablando por telefono, tanto aquí como en su galería en la República Dominicana.
Angela (India) siempre será recordada como una hermosa amiga, hermana, y madre para todos los que
la conocían. Fue la amada esposa de Eduardo Ramos. El recuerdo de Angela vivirá a través de sus seis
hijos – Rodys, Carlos, Antonio, Niulka, José, Yoselyn – sus nietos y sus bisnietos.
Que Angela (India) descanse en paz.
Amigos y familiares están invitados a asistir al velatorio de Angela el 26 de junio de 4-8pm en Galante
Funeral Home (2800 Morris Avenue Union, NJ). Habra una breve visita el 27 de junio de 8:30-9:30am en
Galante Funeral Home. La misa comenzará a las 10 am en Santa María de la Asunción
