Angel Luis Cruz

Angel Luis Cruz, 84, passed away on July 26, 2018.

Angel was born in San Lorenzo Puerto Rico, He arrived and settled in New York City in 1954, and later moving to Lakewood , Union  then Linden, N.J.

Angel was a chef at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City.

He worked as an vehicle assembler for General Motors in Linden.

After retiring from GM he graduated from the New York Culinary School and worked as a Sous Chef at the Richmond Hill Country Club on Staten Island NY.

After leaving the Country Club he joined the Galante Funeral Home as a funeral assistant / caretaker for 12 years before finally retiring and settling  in Puerto Rico.

Father of Jamie Cruz and wife Katherine, Maricely Lopez and husband Ariel.

Brother of 7 sisters and 5 brothers.

Grandfather of Marc, Mark, Marely, Emanuel, Javier, Natasha, Victor and Kiara.
