Andre Telemarque

Andre S. Telemarque, 79 of Brooklyn, NY passed away on April 13, 2020 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

Funeral services are being held privately, in the care of the Galante Funeral Home in Union.

Born in Haiti, Andre worked there as an accountant for many years until moving to Brooklyn in 1986. After moving to the United States, he worked as a health care worker in New York City until his retirement in 2007. A gifted math whiz, Andre enjoyed calculating lottery numbers, and planning how to win it big. A fierce debater, Andre always stayed current with politics. Andre was tech savvy into his older age, and was also known fondly for his intelligence, and for his blunt and honest demeanor. Always putting others above himself, Andre loved his family dearly; he was everything that a father and a grandfather should be.

Andre was the beloved husband of Marie M. (nee Jean-Baptiste) Telemarque; loving father of Lenz Telemarque and his wife Martha Paupulaire; and cherished grandfather of Marlene Rose Telemarque and Alexandre Lenz Telemarque. He was predeceased by his daughter Chantale Telemarque.
