Alice Fuentefria

d. Jul 22, 2026

Alice Fuentefria—a devoted mother, loving partner, and lifelong hard worker—passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born on August 15, 1951, Alice lived a life defined by dedication, family, and warmth. She possessed a strong work ethic throughout her life, culminating in a long, proud career before her retirement from Alpha Wire Corp around the age of 67.

Above all else, Alice was a loving and fiercely devoted mother to her children, Ben and Melissa. She poured her heart into her family and created a home full of life and hospitality. In her younger years, she loved nothing more than hosting dinners for family and friends, dancing, and bringing people together.

In her later years, Alice found great happiness and companionship with her partner of many years, Jim Granato. Together, they shared a simple, comfortable love—enjoying quiet evenings watching movies and TV shows, and making cherished memories during their favorite vacations to Wildwood.

Alice is survived by her loving children, Ben Fuentefria and Melissa Fuentefria; her stepchildren, Darren, Jessie, and Jamie Granato; her grandchildren, Kaylin, Xavier, Marco and Declan; and her remarkable mother, Josephine Cabalar, who recently celebrated her 100th birthday in Florida. She is reunited in peace with her beloved partner, Jim, as well as her father, Aurelio Cabalar, who passed away in 2011.

Her warmth, generosity, and steadfast devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Alice's cremation was held privately in the care of Galante Funeral Home.
