Alfreda Anna Celine Wyszyńska Dutkowski was born on July 26, 1925 in Jersey City, New Jersey the fifth of six children to Stanisława (Stella) Rutkowska & Tadeusz Wyszyński. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She is a First Generation American; settling in Jersey City and attending St. Anthony’s RC Parish Church and School.
Alfreda married Thaddeus Alexander Dutkowski on May 14, 1944. She was devoted to him throughout the entirety of their life together. During WW2, she worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” at Arveys Corporation. Teddy predeceased her in February 1985.

On Saturday May 9th, 2026 while surrounded by ones she loved, Alfreda went to join her beloved Teddy.
