Alfred Amissah Quaicoe “Papa Amissah”, 60 of Warren passed away on February 9, 2023.

Born in Tarkwa, Ghana, Alfred attended Tarkwa Secondary School in Ghana, graduating with the Class of 1984. After traveling to Monrovia, Liberia from 1984 to 1985, he immigrated to Manhattan, New York in 1986, and later settled in Woodbridge, NJ. He was a proud graduate of Kean University in Union, earning an Honors Masters in Accounting (MSACC).
Alfred was a longtime entrepreneur, he operated his own accounting business, Aquatax Financial from 1995 until the present time. Alfred also worked as a real estate agent with Century 21 from 1999 to 2020, and as a bus operator for New Jersey Transit from 1990 to February 2020.
Alfred had a passion for construction, and tackled many home remodeling projects for himself and for his family. He treasured time spent traveling, and held especially fond memories of trips to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Honolulu, Sydney, Australia, Paris, Verona, Italy, and many more. Alfred also enjoyed watching movies, especially his favorite, the Rambo series.
The devoted son of the late Francis Safo Quaicoe and Madam Faustina Araba Akrampah, Alfred was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Asante Quaicoe; loving father of Lucy Quaicoe, Judith Quaicoe, Alfred Quaicoe, Daniel Quaicoe and Kofi Boateng; proud grandfather of Caleb and Roman Iacobucci. He was also the dear brother of Joseph Abaka Quaicoe, Cecilia Quaicoe, Francis Blankson Quaicoe, Elsie Quaicoe, and the late Thomas Quaicoe and Anthony Nana Bayin Baidoo.
