Agnes T. Baldino

Agnes T. Baldino, 99 of Union passed away on January 3, 2023.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Agnes at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday January 5 from 3-5 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church in Union on Friday at 9:15 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Born and raised in Newark's Central Ward, Agnes moved to Vailsburg in 1946. She was a longtime Union resident. Agnes was a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Vailsburg, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and as a dedicated scout leader. She earned many distinctions recognizing her loving 25 year service as a scout leader. Agnes worked as a clerk for John Hancock Insurance Company for 31 years, and retired in 1992. She went back to work part-time several years later, working until she was 90 years old.

Agnes is survived by her dear sister Anna DeTroia; loving brother-in-law Joseph Arminio, by 10 special nieces and nephews, 21 devoted great-nieces and nephews, and 18 cherished great-great-nieces and nephews.
