Brian Michael May, 35 years young, was known for his big blue eyes, beautiful smile and a big heart. Sadly, Brian suddenly passed away in his home in Greenwood Lake, NY on June 3, 2020. A perfect day for Brian was spent in his boat on Greenwood Lake with his three loyal pups by his side. He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved girlfriend, especially their daily runs and walks down to the marina, or simply relaxing with the pups. Brian was selfless and would give the shirt off his back. He was shy, but funny, and was loved by all who knew him. He spread love and led many people to know the good Lord who created him.
Whatever Brian set his mind on, he accomplished. For example:
Became a Certified Lifeguard, High School Days
Became a Master Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Advisor
Ranked Number 1 in New Jersey, High School Wrestling
Ranked in the Top 8 nationwide in High School Wrestling
Two-time All American and National Physique Committee (NPC) Amateur Bodybuilder
In 2008, Brian opened, owned and operated Essential Core, a physical therapy and personal training gym.
Ranked in the Top 3 nationwide in Bodybuilding
Passed Local Union 274’s application process, interview and 5-year apprenticeship program to become a welder in Local Union 274 and continued to complete the additional training and development to become a Journeyman in Local Union 274.
For all of us who knew Brian, he is saying, “There’s no elevator to the top. Just hard work and dedication.” Above all his accomplishments, Brian loved his friends, family and his pups Bella, Brooklyn and Bonnie. He will be forever missed.
