Henry  F.  (Butchie) Sisbarro Jr.    

Henry F. Sisbarro Jr. (Butchie), 66, of Springfield, N.J., passed away on Wednesday Dec. 6, 2017

at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, N.J. after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. 

Born and raised in Belleville, NJ, he lived in Union, NJ for over 20 years

before moving to Mountainside And then to his current residence in Springfield.

He was the proud owner of Sisbarro Construction for over 40 years

and co-owner with his son, Patrick, of Sisbarro Towing and Recovery.   For many years.

He was a member of the Columbia Italian American Club of Union

as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4504

Both in Union, NJ. 

He was an avid boater and lover of the Jersey shore. He loved God, family and his country and thoroughly enjoyed family, friends, teasing and laughing while having good times.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 41 years, Anne Marie Murray Sisbarro,

His sons Henry F. Sisbarro, III and his wife, Patricia, And Patrick J. Sisbarro. 

He is also survived by his siblings,

 Susan Savastano and her husband, Ralph; Harriet Serio and her partner, Peter;

Dennis Sisbarro and his wife, Rosemary;And Lisa Chagnon and her husband, Kirk. 

He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter,Kathleen Anne Sisbarro, and Goddaughter, Traci Ann Serio,

as well as many other nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his baby son, Anthony J. Sisbarro. 

He was also predeceased by his parents, Henry M. and Gloria (Crimaldi) Sisbarro

and his brother, Frederick Sisbarro. 

Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, N.J 

The funeral will be. On Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at 9 am at the Galante Funeral Home followed by the funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church on 1212 Kelly St. (Corner of Vauxhall Road) in Union at 10:15 am.

Cremation will be held privately. 

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that

I have fond memories of visiting Grandmom on Saturdays and playing in the backyard for hours on end. Unfortunately, life took us on different paths and our time spent together was limited. My thoughts and prayers to his family. Rest in Peace my cousin.
